It’s been a while since I created a space for myself to talk about what I’m learning and practicing. Deepest Health and Chinese Medicine Central have been gone for a long time, and Whole Life Practitioner (also dormant) was always more focused on the business aspects of practicing this medicine.
A few things I intend to do here. I want to advocate for lineage medicine, and to do it strongly, because I truly believe it is not just valuable, but necessary. I want to explore what a lineage actually is, philosophically and otherwise. And I want to get into the material itself: formulas, herbs and all the rest.
I’ll also write about things going on at ICEAM from time to time. I have recently had the honor to take over the coordination of the clinics for the Portland Institute, and I’d like to do my utmost to ensure that this lineage thrives. Announcements specific to the organization will be found on the About ICEAM page as they arrive.
I should say plainly that this is not ICEAM’s website. I don’t want there to be any confusion there. It’s mine, and everything on it is my own view of things. ICEAM has its own site, and that is the place to go for anything official. And, most importantly, to step into the stream and learn the most powerful system of healing I’ve ever encountered.
